David Bentz, Vice President Construction Services Mr. David Bentz comes to Severn Construction with over 20 years experience in the commercial construction industry. He has a verifiable track record for the successful completion of multi-million dollar projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships, and building positive rapports with architects, engineers, tradesmen, vendors, and clients. David is well versed in contract negotiations, project estimating, impending design problems, document preparation, building code and regulations, materials purchasing, site management through certification of occupancy. For over fifteen years David worked in the New York City metropolitan area managing projects that ranged from new construction of housing, office and retail space to condominium conversion of historic properties and existing tenant build-out. For many years David owned Bentz Restoration, Inc., a construction company specializing in historical restoration of commercial and residential properties. In his free time David volunteers as a board member for the Bird Club a U.S. based not for profit organization that builds rural housing for farmers in Belize and Guatemala, Central America.
